Spence graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne before completing his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Tasmania.
He has gained experience in musculoskeletal and hospital settings across both Tasmania and Melbourne working with individuals across the lifespan.
He is passionate about assessing and treating all areas of the body with particular interest in the knee and ankle. Spence prides himself on being an enthusiastic and engaging clinician, aiming to make rehabilitation a person-centred process.
Outside of his professional life, Spence loves all things sport, in particular footy, water polo, snow skiing, and golf. He also loves camping and enjoys exploring new places across the country.
Spence is available for one-on-one consultations and clinical Pilates throughout the week at Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic. He is also involved at St Vincent’s Private Hospital delivering services in acute post-operative rehabilitation, working alongside orthopaedic surgeons.
Spence is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
