Robert completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne
in 2017. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor of Science with a special focus on Muscle
and Exercise Physiology.
Since then, Robert has worked extensively across the private clinics in Melbourne, with
elite and amateur football clubs including; Old Scotch Football club, The Glen Iris
Gladiators and various State League soccer clubs. He has also been involved in Under
18’s state athletics, swimming and triathlon events.
In these roles, Robert has been responsible for athlete injury assessment and
management, and developing rehabilitation goals to achieve the best short and long
term outcomes for patients. He has also been involved in treating skiing and
snowboarding injuries having worked in the ski slopes of Japan and Canada, which has
fostered a keen interest in all things snow sports.
Alongside his work with the sporting population, Robert has a passion for helping
patients from all walks of life achieve their health goals. He has special interests in
knee, shoulder and spinal conditions and is focused on delivering the highest quality of
patient care.
Robert has had extensive training in the field of Hip and Knee Joint replacement, from
assessment to management of joint osteoarthritis with the GLAD program, along with
special training in the application and use of Orthopedic prosthesis and their effects on
post operative patient outcomes. He has consulted closely with St Vincent’s hospital in
assessment and management of postoperative joint replacement care.
Robert has extra training in delivering Clinical Pilates and Dry needling.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys all competitive sports, is an avid soccer player and a
tragic Bombers supporter. He also has particular interests in running, skiing and weight
lifting to stay active.
