Richard Webber

Physiotherapist
B.App.Sc. (Physio), A.P.A.M.

Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University (Lincoln Institute) in 1989. Before practising at Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic, he spent a year at the now-retired Fairfield hospital.

From 1995-2005, he worked at a private practice in renowned Harley Street, treating an international clientele (including heads of state and royalty!). In London, he became a consultation physiotherapist to West End theatre producers, treating highly regarded professional theatrical performers and staff. On returning to Melbourne in 2007, Richard again became part of the Hawthorn Physio team to find the best aspects of the Clinic still in place, including Charlie’s hair (with only a few grey hairs).

Currently, Richard is working as a consulting physiotherapist at Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic. His experience has allowed for a versatile skill set for treating a wide range of conditions from head to toe. Although, he is particularly interested in assisting people with their chronic back pain, spinal disorders and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Richard is a talented artist who enjoys painting, movies, and music outside of work.

Richard is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
