Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. He is currently undergoing further education and completing a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, on his way to becoming a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Alex loves working across the body for any and all injuries, but has a special focus in issues of a few key areas; the head, neck, and jaw.

This includes acute and chronic Neck pain, and referred pain into the shoulders, arms, or hands; Jaw (TMJ/TMD) issues such as pain, locking, clicking, and/or popping; and Head issues such as vertigo, dizziness, or post-concussion symptoms.

Alex uses a combination of hands-on therapies, dry needling, and exercise in his treatment. Alex is a qualified GLA:D practitioner for hip and knee osteoarthritis, and an experienced Clinical Pilates practitioner.

Currently, Alex is an avid barbell enthusiast with experience in Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting movements, as well as some calisthenic and gymnastic movements. He also plays in a casual dodgeball league. As such, he loves to treat lifters and throwers of all types.

You can find Alex for physiotherapy or clinical pilates at Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic Tuesday through Saturday.

Outside of the clinic and physical activity, you can find Alex playing tabletop roleplaying games or board games.

Alex is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
