Chermaine graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. Since then, she has worked with multiple private practices, elite amateur football clubs, and a locum physiotherapist in Mildura and Phillip Island. She has also completed further studies in DMA Clinical Pilates.
Chermaine has an interest in Clinical Pilates, sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. Her passion is to help people rehabilitate and preserve movement for those with physical injuries and/or conditions. During her clinical pilates sessions, Chermaine emphasises proper technique, delivering a well-rounded exercise program and creating an engaging group class environment.
Currently, Chermaine is working as a clinical pilates instructor at Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic. She also performs rounds as a physiotherapist at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital whilst collaborating with several orthopaedic surgeons.
Chermaine enjoys exploring walking trails, yoga, and hanging out with her dog in her spare time. With a love of keeping active, Chermaine is keen on supporting individuals in returning to exercise and maintaining their fitness.
Chermaine is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
